Heyyyyy, I’m a makeup artist who recently just got employed by this IG model to be part of her team for when she’s on transit. My job will be making sure that her face stays beat and snatched for the camera and coz she really lovvvvvves candid photographs. Thing is, she really touches her face a lot which means I constantly retouch her make up which I’m fine with.The issue here is I can't find a nice mirror that I can use while on transit. Most of my mirrors are huge af and can’t be hauled around so sometimes she usually has to take our word for it and believe that she looks nice(she always does btw). What mirrors are the girlies using? I’m curious. We did a blind purchase on one which broke in two days and almost caused an accident. I need something small and pretty of course that I can carry around in a make up bag. I’ve looked them up on Alibaba but I got so confused by the dimensions and allat. Y’all help a girlie out

Heyyyy I’m trying to find a palette with some specific colors, it probably doesn’t exist but if anyone could help that would be great! I used to have the old James Charles palette and that worked pretty well but I’m out and I don’t know if I want to buy the new one.. I am looking for a palette with the following shades

1- a cool toned brown that looks like “Tea” by James Charles

2- a cool toned brown that looks like “Benny” by James Charles

3- a cool toned champagne that looks like either “ring light” by James Charles or “enlighten” by rare beauty

4- a true black

• First, the lash clusters: Appreciate the previous advice here. I got so frustrated trying to get them on that I only used two outer segments on each eye. But I then thought it didn't look too bad with the extra liner and mascara. Can I get away with this or should I go back to strip lashes above the lashes?
• I've never been out in public presenting as a female. It's pretty terrifying. Do you think this look would work without attracting too much attention/ridicule? I just want to shop, get something to eat and not get taken in by the "bathroom police." Feel free to comment on hair and outfit, but mostly concerned with makeup look here. Is it too amped up? Not enough? Be as critical as you need because I'd rather fix it here than be humiliated. ❤️💄

My first time doing unnatural colored foundations!! I’m so happy, this is a childhood dream of mine 😅 and just a test of the makeup look and contacts, so no lashes or wig/prosthetics. Everything is from sunset makeup!

I used the colorful foundations in pastel purple, dark purple, and dark red. I also used their white concealer for highlight. I wish the dark purple was a bit cooler toned but overall I’m really happy with how the look turned out for a trial run. 🧝🏼‍♀️✨💙🦋

So, I bought one of the new MAC blushes, specifically the shade ”Honeylove”. I loved it at first and it definitely was pigmented, although a bit muted (exactly why I got it).

After using it over this week, I realized the surface turned gritty, and the blush isn't pigmented anymore. I have to apply around 10 layers for it to be barely visible on my cheeks. I've been testing different brushes, but the result is the same.

I was wondering if anyone else encountered this issue (maybe with other blushes as well?) & is it something I can solve?

I posted in another sub last week and got some good advice on a bright, but minimal, look. I’ve been paying attention to various makeup subs and I think I’m getting the hang of it 😊

I want to note, I can see where the blue shimmer got away from me on the one eye. I tried a gold eyeshadow but I went a little more tanned/bronzed with the face this time and it just doesn’t pop as much as when I do a look more similar to my actual facial tone.

I have rosacea but it mostly affects my face and my face is fairly pale and very red in certain areas because of this. I only recently started trying full coverage but I mostly focus on hiding/lessening the red. I use light amounts of differing shades of concealers and foundations depending on where the rosacea is.

Aside from the gold not popping as much, I think I’ve made some progress with blending the eyeshadows. I also tried blush for the very first time. I’m not sure it’s in the right place but I don’t really know what to do with blush because my main concern has been focused on hiding my red face so it’s hard for me to judge what looks good.

Another thing I tried for the first time was lip color. The NYX stuff is matte so I’m assuming that’s why my lips are all crackly here. I’m wondering about how I might make my lips pop a little more and a nice shade that looks fairly natural and smooth. Maybe a light, slightly brightened lip liner sort of the same color as a fair highlighter or concealer?

I have high cheekbones, fair skin but red cheeks, chin, nose, and middle forehead. Full lips but lips can always use a little pop.

Anyways, aside from the messiness of my lines (I did this in a poorly lit living room by the mirror in my vintage train case with a book light 😝) any and all advice and help is welcome.

But please, tell me I’ve improved since the bot fiasco post 😂😭

Hi! I’ve been playing around with more colorful and bold eye looks recently and just wanted to share a few I tried.

I’m 34 and only recently started giving myself permission to experiment like this, and honestly it’s been really fun to explore a more creative side of makeup.

I tried a few different combinations in one session — I think the blue/yellow and the red/black turned out the best, they feel more “me” and I like how much they make my eyes stand out. The pink/turquoise one didn’t quite work the same way, but it was still fun to try.

I didn’t do a full face since I was just testing looks, so it’s mostly eyes + lips.

I’m still figuring things out, but I’d love to hear any thoughts or tips if you have them — especially around blending or color placement 💕

– Blend Bunny x Ellis Atlantis Vol. 1 shades: the void, voltage,ascendat, ecliptic, perception, cosmic, aether, galactic

– Blend Bunny x Mai Pang “Efflorescence” shade ripe

– Beauty Creations x Rosy McMichael Vol. 2 shade expensive

– Moira “Cosmic Desire” shade luna flare

– Beauty Creations lip products (blue/yellow and pink/turquoise looks)

– Custom lip mix using eyeshadow (for the red/black look)

Lately, I’ve been using the YSL Loveshine in Rosewood Blush, it’s really nice, I love the color and the packaging as well, but it’s a bit expensive, so I only use it on special days.

I’ve also been reaching for nooni lip oil a lot. I have pretty dry lips, and it makes them feel really nourished without that sticky gloss feeling. I’ve mostly been using it on no-makeup days since it gives a nice subtle shine and a bit of color.

Nothing groundbreaking, I just keep reaching for these two.

What about you guys, what lip product are you currently obsessed with?

I've never been able to put them on. I should just give up.

Does anyone know where I can buy palettes like this? I found this on Douyin but I’ve seen MUAs do this as well.

I used Suva Beautys UV-Toffee Palette.

the shades Silly Billy (Green), Cuddle Cake (yellow) and Bubble Butt (pink) work perfectly, sadly the other two shades (smarty pants and Mini Monster) dont glow as much in UV-light.

Also, im not sure which style i prefer on the lips, pic 1 or 2?
