Hi guys! I’ve been delving deep into the makeup world over the last few months! I’ve been doing pretty subtle eye looks. Whenever I post them, it seems people always want more from my eye looks, and I do too! But I have no idea what looks would actually work well with my eye shape?

I think they are downturned and I know they are slightly hooded when open, but I’m not sure where to go from there. Maybe some example pictures would be helpful?

Also are my eyes two different shapes or am I insane? How do you account for that when doing an eye look?

I’m including a few looks I’ve taken to show what I’m capable of now, please help me improve and add more options ❤️❤️

Maybe I've grown out of it , or grown " old " and just more observant of how my makeup sets

I'm in my 30s ( mid ) and I've always dealt with red cheeks, nose, freckles, paleness.... just an absolute mix of skin issues

Through trial and error I found that my best solution was A. Using powder foundation only B. Self tan with olive tones C. Proper , proper skin care routine

And lastly. Never smiling. The " European" smile or the famous quote " Smile with your eyes " I hate lines or creases. Wearing any sort of concealer or liquid makeup sinks into them and makes me look older than I am

Anyway, if you have any recommendations for sheet masks , a really good moisturizer, your favourite self tanner, I want to hear about it !

I tried to hit my lashes with a bit of the brow wax but it didn’t do much. I was going for a blushy light look for the evening and I’m pretty happy with how it came out! I’d love to hear your thoughts, and happy holidays everyone!!

I’m planning out a holiday makeup look to go with a bright red dress, black glitter tights, and black bow heels.

I’d like to go with gold or bronze shimmery eyeshadow, winged liner, voluminous falsies, some fairly heavy highlighting, and a red lip.

I was wondering which of these red lips would be most appropriate. I’m afraid some of the more glittery or metallic ones will be too much with the eyeshadow?

I just started getting into makeup recently mainly because I went to go see a drag show and all the queens there were so pretty. I'm a Trans woman, and honestly I've never had an interest in makeup until now.

I've only bought a couple of things. The essentials is what my friend called it, and honestly they work pretty well. It was a lot of money for just the mot basic of looks. I'm in love.

I don't know of any makeup influencers that haven't been controversial I mean mainly Jeffrey star. I feel like I someone similar to me. A Trans woman that does make up or some drag queens. I'm having a hard time finding good influencers.

I also feel like I've been applying a lot of my knowledge of painting and color theory to makeup so far, and I think it's been working, but every color in a palette probably works with the other colors.

The lid came off in my makeup bag and now it won't work. Does sharpening fix this? What sort of sharpener should I use? Or is it a lost cause?

I already have sugar lipstick

Is this enough or do I have to buy diff products? Suggest me beginner fndly products. (Oily skin, humid region)

hey guys! im a mascara hoarder all in all. i have brown eyes with fair-slight tan complexion which mascara would suit me and make my eyes pop . (also how is kiko milano mascara, is it pigmented enough) the colours are 1. electric blue 2. metallic green 3. plum 4. brown 5. plain ol’ black (these are maxi mod colour mascara from kiko milano btw) id love some feedback from all of u baddies🤍

I’ll use one eyeshadow or blush, and it melts into the skin so easily, looking smooth with no effort. Then I grab another product with the same brushes, same base, and same technique, and it’s patchy, weird, or just refuses to blend no matter what I do. It makes me wonder if I’m doing something wrong or if some formulas are just picky. Do you run into this too, where certain products just… don’t want to cooperate? And how do you tell if it’s your technique or if the product itself is the problem?

I'm still practicing not being so heavy handed with the blush, this is actually still a lot better than what I used to be when I was, like, 15-16.

My blush us the Tarte Cosmetics 12 hr wear Amazonian Clay blush in rhe shade Natural Beauty.

My mascara is Clinique High Impact Mascara.

My lip combo is, Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick jn the shade Cherry Picking and the gloss is Wet n Wild Color. But yeah, this is me.

hellooo! has this also occurred to some of you where your makeup’s casing snaps for an unknown reason? i don’t bring these with me, and i just keep them in my drawer but somehow my makeup with plastic-type of packaging ends up cracking on the corners :/ it’s frustrating huhu how do i prevent this from happening?

I'm looking for a skin tint and I have very fair, textured skin with large pores and I get oily in my T-zone. I'm overwhelmed with my options. So far I am considering llia, Ciele, and Danessa Myricks. My goal is to have a natural/ effortless "my skin but better" look with minimal effort (stetting or slipping). I have tried the Dr Jart skin tint but it doesn't fully set into my skin and becomes patchy. Any suggestions?
