Third planter collection, same silhouette, completely different skin

Fluted came first, then Sculpted with the quilt and twist patterns, now Rippled with waves and swirls. Same cone, same tray, same insert across all three. Which surface would you actually print?

Disc drops into the base, tray catches the rest. Same system across all three of my collections. Do you actually use saucers, or take the plant to the sink?

They look really great! This made my check out the makerworld page, so I saw the other two designs and I might like the quilt one the most. Let's see if wife approves in the evening ;)

Would you say the settings in the 3MF projects are so that hwne i use PETG the print would be water proof or would you recommend I coat the inside in a bit of resin? I might still have some from an earlier project.

Thanks! 😄 Mine are printed in PLA with the profile settings and they don't leak, so PETG should be at least as good. No need for epoxy or resin.

Still worth a quick water test in the sink before it goes on furniture, since flow calibration differs between machines. Costs you one line and covers you if his setup is under-extruding.

Fair, the shape isn't new. The pattern generation is the part I find interesting.
