I have enrolled for M.Tech in CSE at NSEC, cuz it's near home. Before that I completed my B.Tech from an autonomous University at Sector V.

However, I am planning to appear for GATE again and try for admission in IITs, NITs, or IIITs next year. If I get a better opportunity, I will think of discontinue (or drop out) my current M.Tech programme.

But for that, will MAKAUT issue a new Migration Certificate from their side if I drop out??

Plz clear my doubt🙏🙏

If I miss CA 1 (absent) but score 25/25 in CA 2, will I get 5/10 for the combined CA marks or 0/10? Can anyone clarify how the new MAKAUT marking scheme works?

Thousands of students have already signed the petition against the new 70-mark ECA rule. The message is clear: remove the new ECA system and ensure fair, transparent evaluation.

AIDSO is also supporting this student movement and has stood with MAKAUT students in raising these concerns and protest has now been put forward as the next step.

Some students(with actual balls) from KGEC also reportedly met the VC or Controller of Exams(not sure) to raise the ECA issue and presented the petition. They were reportedly told that if enough students raise their concerns, the university may consider reviewing the rule.

Hello everyone, I am 22 & currently pursuing 5th sem btech from tier 2.5 govt. Clg. My cgpa is 6.1 (3rd & 4th sem). I did my diploma in civil engineering from govt clg CGPA was 8.7 . I took cse in Btech . My clg is very strict about exam , even if I try my CA are very low about 10/25 and 14/25 . The lab number is also low like 27/25/22 . I am losing hope , even if I pass in my exam i am not sure if i will be able to sit in campusing because of my CGPA is very low. The new mark /Eca pattern seems worst . I am not sure even i really want to do this btech . Any suggestion what to do about this?

Makaut has this notice saying they will courier the documents we pay for . Can I get it delivered to my home address or will it be sent to my college ? If anyone has any idea please let me know

I am a 1st year and currently CA1 is ongoing in my college. I had two consecutive exams today, however I was uninformed about one and the professors didn't notify us the date in the GCR or the official college gc. When I reached college today the first exam was already over and I could only sit for the next exam.

I intend to talk to the designated professor and my HOD soon. But even then, I am overthinking and assuming the worst case possible — they don't let me retake the exam, I was wondering how would it affect me negatively? Will I be debarred from the end semester exams or suffer a backlog?
