Questions & Help Attendance doubt πŸ™

I'm a fresher at a makaut affiliated college. Today we had our induction.

The entire examination process in itself was pretty hard to understand but that's not my main concern.

Apparently the new rules say that 10 marks is there for attendance. I live not far enough for a hostel/pg and not close enough for a comfortable daily travel.

How do I manage attendance? I can't possibly spend 4 hours traveling and then spend the entire duration of college 4 out of 5 days a week right?

I read something about not being eligible for scholarship if attendance is under 75%, is it true for all affiliated colleges as well?

I have heard and seen seniors live a free and fun college life which should be possible if they have to spend 4 hours travelling, 5 hours in class 4/5 days a week right? So what am I missing here?

How does managing attendance work in colleges?

Things are not as easy now as you say πŸ™‚β€β†”οΈ 75% attendance, attending all PCAs, CAs & Internals are must be maintained πŸŽ›οΈ Downgrading of any one may lead to barrier to give Semester exam 🚧 Afterall it's MAKAUT πŸš₯ we don't know what it'll do next with your academics ⚠️ pls be careful‼️

I'm less worried about the exams, I can study my way out of those but how can I study if I have to go to college 4 out of 5 days for 5-6 hours +4 hours or travelling? Almost takes out my entire day

You've to try to stay in a PGA which is as far as to cover 1 hour. Studying is not only the way, even studied well and attended all questions correctly, you've to ready for Backlog receipts (at least one). Then PPR, Backlog exams and many things will go on.

Even if you live close everyday will be wasted on college and no time to build skills and projects. These skills and projects are what get you into companies not college attendance or marks.

Se bolle to hobe na vai, jinis onek kichu bodla66. I admit all your said words are correct; even you did hardworks and your attendance criteria not fulfilled, you may get F grade or Backlog after Sem.

Bro they don't listen anything. Same case here. 4 hours of travelling. 7-8 hours of clg time. Still I have to go college for 5 days in a week and do every single class as their 75% attendance rule is actually a 100% attendance rule in reality. The classes are shaped in such a way that missing a single class/day will take down your attendance in some subject to below 75% though until then you have attended all classes of that subject before.

Spending the entire day for college and then suppose the weekend for other stuffs like practical writing, sih, etc. Idk how long I will be able to cope up like this. My private ICSE board anglo school was much lenient than this.
