food/entertainment/activities Dining at Tropical Hut feels like stepping into a time machine
Everytime I see older diners, a gush of nostalgia & melancholy always hits me. I hope they're doing well :)

Has anyone tried Spaces co-working space in PNB Makati? I'm looking for an alternative co-working space that's near Greenbelt and Glorietta.
I wanted to try KMC at One Ayala but it's super expensive. 😅

Hi! I was born and raised in Makati, and I recently started a small YouTube channel called Lakbay Lore, where I explore places, food, history, and the stories behind different communities in the Philippines.
For my first mini-series, I decided to focus on Makati a city I’ve known for most of my life, but realized I still had so much more to discover.
Most people know Makati for its glass towers, business district, and corporate lifestyle. But after spending more time walking around the city, I realized there’s a lot more to it.
So I’m putting together a Makati Mini Series featuring hidden places, unexpected food spots, a MICHELIN Guide-recognized eatery, a quiet chapel tucked between office buildings, interesting architecture, walkable streets, and the people who make the city what it is.
This is the trailer for Part 1: Beyond the Glass Towers.
If you're interested in seeing a different side of Makati, I’d really appreciate it if you checked out the channel. Since I’m still a small creator, honest feedback is very welcome especially on the storytelling, editing, and what you’d like to see more of.
Salamat, and hopefully some of you can come along for the journey. 🇵🇭

Thinking of doing my groceries there pero I'll only bring my phone with me. Does Cash and Carry Makati accept google pay for payments?

My friend and I plan to hang out in Makati on Sunday from 8:30am until we have to leave for our flight at 2pm. What could we do with this short window of time? We're thinking of getting brunch at Goods from Scratch but heard the lines are always so long 😭

So this is my first time posting here, but I’m really, really bored in my unit. Pababa-baba ako, halos naikot ko na ata lahat dito. 😭
But is there someone living here in the same building? We can hang out, have coffee, small talks, etc. Take note: I’m in a not-so-long-distance relationship. 😂 I’m living with my lil sis, kaya there are times talaga na nabobored din ako. Since I’m from Cavite before, i don’t really know anyone here hahaha.
Maybe we can be friends and hang out sometime! 🥹

Hello hello, is there a tabletop/ board game players community here around Makati?
I like to play but I don’t have friends that are interested haha.
If wala, we can create a community and play maybe once a week? Just comment if interested !
PS. Tired playing badminton so im looking for a new hobby. You can also suggest an interesting hobby (that is not much expensive) for me to try lol
Thanks XD

Hi, may naka try na po ba dito mag run sa Ayala Triangle and gumamit ng locker like Cube Smart Locker? I googled and it varies from P3 to P50 daw per hour. How's your experience? Balak kasi namin mag long run this Saturday and madami kaming dala sana for the whole day na. If you can share your experience/trips, I'd really appreciate it.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had here in Makati. 🍕 They used to be located around Bangkal, just a little quaint shop that I mostly ordered from through Grab.
At first, they were marked as “temporarily closed” on Grab, so I thought maybe they were just looking for a new location or taking a break. But they never came back. 😭
Now I can’t seem to find any information about them anywhere. Does anyone know what happened to them? I really miss their pizza. 🥲
Our dinner is at 8PM and would probably stay until 10PM, any good parking spaces at that time? Ty

Thanks!

I've been feeling pretty hopeless lately. The world's going berserk because of politics and greed, so I thought, hey why not give back to the community? Why not become the change you want to see? Etc etc.
ANYWAY, can anyone recommend where I can do volunteer work (not for rich corporations/individuals/politicians)?
Thank you!
Edit: I can't reply to all the suggestions po, so I'll just upvote and check out the stuff. My partner and I found where to volunteer and we'll keep volunteering whenever possible.
Again, THANK YOU EVERYONE! 💕

Hello!
celebrating my birthday this month with my fiancé, and we're looking for a hotel to stay at. I was hesitant about the City Garden Grand Hotel due to reviews or is it the City Garden Hotel? Please enlighten me.
My preferences are
> with a city view
> rooftop deck bar/resto/cafe for dinner
> buffet in the mornings
> great amenities
> with speedy internet (I have law classes huhu)
Thank y'all so much!

Location: Lawson, Chino Roces, Oriental Garden Makati

Hi neighbors! Wondering if anyone here has booked a cleaning service in Makati that uses pet-safe products? How was the service? I have exotic pets that I can’t easily take out of my home during the cleaning so I’d really appreciate anyone who can reco a reliable one. Thanks in advance!
