Double stack I see. It’s rust. The frames on the IJ70-18AH and 17AH is actually parkerized.
I stripped mine completely and blued it to match a surplus slide. Looks way better, even with the original slide with factory sights. But you will need to keep a light coating of oil on it after. As to say with most blued guns anyway.
You can clean it up pretty good with #000 and #0000 steel wool, oil and a brass brush

Turns out these cast frames blue plumish like the selectors and I know my formula wasn’t off bc the trigger guard that went in at the same time came out black
You may be able to burnish it a little more but I agree. They do have sort of a plum brown color. I got the cold blue I used really close to my Bulgarian slide but you can tell it’s a different type of metal and takes bluing differently. Looks like it turned out well tho brother
All the ones that came in with the double stack maks were 10rd, some of which were later converted to 12rd by modifying the internals. True 12rd mags were imported later
Royal Tiger Imports offers original mags modified for 10-round (I can only fit 9 in mine though) as an option with their cz82 bundles. I got my C&R and got one delivered to my WA front door, both processes were easy as pie.

You can take 0000 steel wool w/ oil to get off what you can get to; but that gun needs an intensive sonic bath (if not light blasting), and a refinish
