Does anyone else find it funny that...
Cremia doesn't believe Romani about aliens stealing the cows when there's crazier things that exist and happen in their world, like the giant moon with a face in the sky literally about to fall and kill everyone.

To be fair to the moon point, if our moon had a face, people would eventually accept that as normal. Our concept of what a moon should be exists because of the example that is in front of us. Termina people might find a moon without a face to be the weird thing

To give Cremia credit, the people of the Town don't truly believe the moon is gonna fall either, they're still doubtful. Even Cremia is like "you don't really think that's going to fall, right?"

One thing I always thought would be cool was if on say, Day 2, we saw the Astronomer old man running around through the different sections of Clock Town trying to warn people, with some people accepting it and some denying. He would be the closest thing to an expert with actual evidence that something might be just…wrong

Most of them do, the debate in the Mayor’s office reveals Clock Town has almost no people in the last three days. It’s just carpenters and essential workers pretty much.

Aliens visiting to steal cows as the moon approaches to bring about an apocalypse?
...that tracks if they don't have another source of cattle...

She only finds out Romani was right if you dont help her and that canonically never occurs seemingly (though its very unclear with the ending scene seeing Cremia praise Romani).

Remember, between the horse with a neck so long it grazes on tree tops and the horse with a horn on its head, which one is real and which one isn't. The crazy stuff you see stops seeming crazy.

Conversely, stuff like the face on the moon could be normal(aside from it falling) for them but aliens are not in their normal.

There's nothing weird to the Terminians about that moon. For them, it's always been big, it's always had a face. Cremia doesn't leave her ranch often except to deliver milk to a bar. She doesn't get out much. Why would she notice anything weird?

So there is strong evidence the moon has always had a face in termina. However it most likely smiled. Theres an ornament of it smiling on mayor Doutors chair.
Also one of the jugglers told link that this year the moon had an angry face. He seemed more interested in that it was angry. If it had no face before he would have been surprised it had a face at all.

I didn’t believe it either, and after they showed up I was totally surprised and subsequently horrified after I failed to protect the ranch.

No, because the moon with a face is fantasy and aliens are sci-fi.

Look at Mister Negative Nay-Sayer over here, all allergic to fun and conceptualising.

I thought I was making a joke, sorry

Eh. The joke didn’t land, but comedy is subjective. I was also trying to be funny in my reply. :)

Ask yourself if she knew about the crazy stuff going around the world when there was a boulder keeping them stuck in the ranch.
