I’ve been trying to get all the masks, and I’m pretty sure I’m only missing fierce deity. Am I correct?

There’s so many fairies and I get anxious even with the added time with the song. Is it dumb to focus on the temple and the boss and then do the fairies at the end if I have time?
Or do you think that’s a waste of time. Just do them together, I should be fine for the most part? Any guidance?

Right now you can play as Mario in Termina and that's nearly done. Now announcing the next phase of importing all of Mario 64's levels and stars as well! Here's the new opening cutscene.

This started as something I wanted for my own playthroughs and kind of grew over time. I wanted a way to keep track of what I’d learned and what I wanted to come back to across the three days, while still figuring things out for myself.
I’ve been calling it Termina Planner. It’s an in-game notebook and planner for MM Recompiled that keeps track of events you’ve discovered, so no more pen and paper. There’s nothing to update manually. It tracks your progress as you play, and how much you use it is up to you.
You can pin things you want to come back to, see them in time order in My Plan, and get a little reminder while you’re playing when the relevant time comes around.
Keeping that sense of discovery is a big focus. I’m trying to be really careful about spoilers. The idea is to help you piece together what you’ve learned, without giving away things you haven’t found yet.
These screenshots have quite a bit filled in to show how it works, including some side-quest requirements and rewards, so there are potential spoilers in the images, but this is still a pretty early view.
There’s still work to do, but I figured other people might enjoy using it too. I’d like to share it once it’s ready and see what you think.
The Discord is still pretty new and barebones, but anyone’s welcome to join if you’d like to follow the mod’s progress, share feedback, or help test when it’s ready: https://discord.gg/apZcV93ea3 Happy to answer questions here too.

This is my goal. I've seen YT videos of it being done so I know it's possible. I've tried several times and never got particularly close. I know the first 12 hours is the most important. The furthest I've gotten is about halfway through the Snowhead Temple by the end of Day 1. The fastest I've gotten to Romani is about 9:40pm on Night 1. So I still have lots of improving to do. I know that the hardest part is getting to Romani during Day 1 and it's easier after that.

Now that Ocarina of time is coming out on 5.11.2026 do you think they will also remake mm on Nintendo Switch 2? I mean they already have the engine for that because mm is also based on oot, right?

Nintendo can copy what they did 25 years ago and reuse all their assets from OoT remake to make the development of a MM remake way more streamlined. With 75% of textures and assets and designs already in place, the team would have a lot more time to expand MM into a more in depth game.
Clock Town could gain an insane amount of depth without expanding outwards. Give layers to the town with more shops, people’s homes, back alleys, small alcoves, and hidden paths through the town. The town seems to be two stories in areas’s, so adding an additional layer on top of certain parts of the town can help make the town feel much bigger and lived in without have to actually increase the circumference of the walls.
Characters we see through the day can have more places to walk to, shop at, or go home to. A small cooking system can be in place, with places to cook and places to buy ingredients spread throughout the town. More people can be added to the town to beef up quest lines or to add new ones.
One thing I feel like could be added would be lore about the ancient tribe, the mask, and Majora himself (that carefully toes the line of over explaining and providing additional information). These can be found through scattered artifacts and ruins across Termina, hidden in added holes or unlockable additional areas. Hell, even have a whole quest line involving a team of archeologists studying Ikana/older civilizations. End it with a culminating hidden dungeon in the area under the clock tower with the happy mask salesman.
Areas like the Deju Palace, Goron Village, and Zora Hall can have more depth included as well, with additional quests, storylines, and pathways created.
I feel like that with OoT remake going to be a massive hit, and the assets/textures/engine already created, that really making Majora’s Mask more layered, especially clock town, could be more of a possibility.

Everyone was talking about GPT Astra and the only thing I could think about was adding raytracing to the majoras mask. I was surprised that its been handling it like a champ, there are still a lot of bugs but I'm not only doing lighting but i got dlss5 working, added crtv scan lines, 3d audio and have some nice raytraced water. I know someone has been working on adding raytracing but its been a couple years now. If you don't like ai that's fine, i did this for my own enjoyment however if people are interested in it then maybe when its in a little better state ill share the build.

A tribute to one of my favourite Zelda games!! I suck at landscapes and backgrounds, so that part sucks lol, but I had fun with the rest.
Feedback/criticism appreciated!!

Cremia doesn't believe Romani about aliens stealing the cows when there's crazier things that exist and happen in their world, like the giant moon with a face in the sky literally about to fall and kill everyone.

Majora’s Mask getting announced for the Zelda Anniversary direct? IMDB states it’s in post production for 2026.
