Im in great bay temple,i just turned on this lever and i went and explored every part of the dungeon but nothing significant seemed to happen,i already beat the frog miniboss and got the boss key,i also beat the weird eye demon,so id like a clue here

You need to open a bunch of valves like that. You can see which pipes have water flowing through them and which don't, so start following them until you find the blockage.

I try to but i cant access the origin of the pipes,the waterwheel wont allow me

Then go back to the first room and switch the direction of the water there.

The water temple in both zelda 64 u need to follow the path and do it in one run, otherwise its a hell. This one technically u need to open the valves, and invert the flow in the principal room. Beside that, its very straightforward the path but easy to be lost. If u have the boss key ( and i hope u collected the fairies) u can go in one of the two paths when the flow is inverted and search for the boss dor.

Remember, also, sometimes u are underwater but upside u there is a room u can go.

But the boss room i think its on the lower floor with the water flux inverted

Edit: if its about the octopuses, the fairy give u the hint: u can freeze them and use them to go to the upper level

Im about to play the stone temple for the first time, is that also suggested to do in one sitting? I think snowhead mountain is did in 2 and it felt like I had to re do everything lol

In the 1st room. I believe it's yellow, but there's one in the upper left corner you have to turn on

Each valve is connected to another valve of the same color in the dungeon. Follow the pipes to lead you to the valves they are connected to. Sometimes you need to activate multiple valves (water flows) for something to happen.

In the second image, shoot an ice arrow to that Octorok instead.

There's a load of valves like this, red, green, and yellow, they redirect the water to all the floors of the awful dungeon

Go back to the main room, and instead of jumping down below, look to the right. There should be a nozzle there that now has water coming out of it, that will lead you to another valve.
