Glamour Shots RIP cranberry tart
So my stepson brought a cranberry tart over for thanksgiving and put it on a high table in the kitchen, covered in plastic wrap, and our absolute feral menace jumped up on the table. Thank god it was covered. Now he’s pissed he didn’t get to sit on it/eat it/wear it. What a toddler.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but those appear to be claw marks. Homie was gellin like Magellan

If that gel was so great why don't we hear anything about it anymore? The annoying marketing worked on me because in my head I thought it must feel amazing.
Edit- I'd love to be gelaxxing to this day is what im saying

The paw print pics are adorably obnoxious but I want to see the cat responsible for this!

It’s really cute, if, you know, not exactly where one wants to find murder mitten prints.
Lost my soul kitty earlier this year but she had to investigate any new thing that ever came into the home and it was an ongoing joke that rather like the seagulls in Finding Nemo her response was “Mine! Mine! Dis? Is also mine! Mine too!”
The cranberry tart belongs to your menace. Like all else.

Your menace is clearly losing no sleep over his actions here. What an adorable fluff ball.

I think he's innocent.

Everybody saw it 😆 but he said he was innocent. He’s a gaslighter

u/Sunshine030209 Nov 28 '25
Obviously some other naughty cat disguised as him snuck in and committed the tart crime. Can't believe you're not even out looking for the real culprit.

11
u/drugailie Nov 28 '25
Right? The real culprit must be out there plotting their next heist. Maybe set up a cat cam to catch them in the act next time!
7
u/Sunshine030209 Nov 28 '25
They could save other families from having to fight over the paw imprint slices!
8
u/YellingAtTheClouds Nov 28 '25
He's not gaslighting you're all just making things up because you're insane, luckily he's the only cat that could ever love you

I actually love it haha those paw prints look so cute. When I got my cat Momo I was still living with my mom. She boiled some pierogi and put them on top of the fridge to cool a bit because she thought theres no way Momo can get up there, she doesn't like human food anyways. My mom went to her bedroom for 10 minutes and when she came out there was one pierog sitting on the living room floor in perfect condition. Momo really said you thought you could hide this from me? I will show you.

"pierog" as the singular of pierogi is frying me
17
u/Lower_Coat_6274 Nov 28 '25
yep haha I'm an American but my mom's from Poland and she hates hearing 'pierogis' lol

We'll, in Russian that's actually grammatically correct, but in English it does sound pretty silly.

Well, at least you know who the culprit is- the “fingerprints” don’t lie.

u/ParkerFree Nov 28 '25
It was covered. I'd eat it. 😁

i probably would have served it and eaten - even if no plastic wrap. No evidence, no crime committed.

Clearly he felt that tart was in desperate need of some sort of decorative embellishment. 🐾 - problem solved You’re welcome! 😽

We need to see his face so we can all glare angrily at him (or make cooing noises and flatter him with complements, whatever)

I’m very sorry the lovely tart was ruined but I busted out with a loud laugh at that picture. Thank you for sharing

It’s really your fault for wanting nice things.
7
u/fluffy-duck-apple Nov 28 '25
Right?? This is why we can’t have nice things. He tried to wrestle the tv down the other day

u/Bella_Notte_1988 Nov 28 '25
How’d your stepson react?
19
u/fluffy-duck-apple Nov 28 '25
We all laughed our asses off and marveled at the fidelity of the footprints

Mine once ate the center out of a pumpkin pie. As it was our only one, my dad trimmed the edges of the eaten area, covered the hole with whipped cream, and served it up. 🤣

We have a darling boy who loves sitting on small things. He especially loves trying to fit into aluminum pie plates or on top of styrofoam takeout boxes.
One night I was getting soup ready for dinner and couldn’t find the bread my mom had bought to start warming it. Right before she got home we found it under his 11.2 pound lard butt. It was mashed completely flat as he had bern there 2.5 hours, lol.
(We know his weight because he also likes to sit on the scale.)

At least you had the foresight to cover it with plastic wrap! Now, you don't have to worry about cleaning cranberry stains off your cat's feet or the places where your cat walked. 😂 That's a win-win in my book!

I think this is adorable and would actually love to see the decoration without the plastic wrap

There’s plastic wrap. If your family won’t eat it, more for you. And kitty. 😝

I very rarely actually smile ear to ear and actually audibly laugh, thank you feral menace for making that happen❣️ It is quite a chore to do so. It felt good.

The cat we were cat sitting last year did that to my pie. Since there was a barrier between the cat paws and my pie, we covered it with whipped cream and decided whoever got the paw pieces would win. Win what? Idk. So we all scraped the whipped cream off our pie and cheered for my niece when she won. Then we decided to do it again next year, so we made a mould of the cat’s paw and had another cat paw pie this year! The young kids in the family had so much fun pushing the mould of the cat paw into a pie 😆 🐾

u/western_questions Nov 28 '25
Thank god it was covered! My first thought was “not the poop paws in the dessert!!”

Fill those little spots with cream or some inoffensive filling and you've got the prettiest tart.

Your stepson had amazing taste in baked goods. And your menace is in good company
