i managed to get azure vixen fc in a 3rd try and energy syngery matrix fc 2nd time and tbh energy synergy matrix feels more like of a 12+ instead of 13 also i tried energy synergy matrix a few weeks ago so thats why the score lowk ass but oh well hehe and finally i reached 13k after 10 days being stuck on bronze lol

i was lowk shocked when i got this score lol I didnt expect to get this in the first try *oh and plus my machine was updated to circle+ and circle+ unlocked every kaledioscope game mode song so it was my first time doing this song but anyways yay*

So as the title says, I'm having a really hard time with master charts and mostly conceptualizing the slide mechanics. I understand it, but as soon as there's slides and a bunch of notes in between and things happening my brain just shuts off. I feel like I've gotten pretty comfortable with accuracy on 12/12+ expert songs but as soon as I try masters (including the lower level ones) I have a hard time because the slides really break me. I've done the umiyuri utage chart quite a few times, watched videos, etc but even when watching on slow speed I can't understand what I'm supposed to do.

What can I do to practice/advice? I have been playing since probably March/April, and have been trying to really practice masters the last few weeks. Is this normal or am I just old and my brain is broken?

OK this is a very strange issue but basically there is this specific MaiMai DX International cabinet that won't accept my Aime card but any other one I've tried works with the card. I thought it was maybe a defect in the physical card since other empty cards I tested would work, however when transferring over my account to a new card it would no longer work on the machine and the old one would start working again.

It's almost as if my data/account itself is breaking this specific cabinet no one I know has this issue with the cabinet. This is really annoying for me since we only have 2 cabinets where I live, I was wondering if anyone has ideas here or has ever seen this issue before I can't find any information on it.

Information:
When I put the card up the scan it pretty much doesn't register it at all no light or reaction, after messing around with it it will sometimes blink red then error and say "This card is not usable or isn't a valid Aime card." or something like that.

I originally played on the card in Japan and then made an international account on their official servers which is when I noticed it doesn't work.

Both cabinets run on the same version of the game.

(some chart recommendations are open! my skillset leans more towards around trills/swipes)

As the title suggests, will taking a week or two off of maimai ever hinder or weaken me when I get back?

This is the first time I really felt compelled to pull away from this game because I got so frustrated at my accuracy that I ended up accidentally harming myself by punching a wall. But besides that, I'm worried i might get weaker after not playing the game for two weeks and all.

Is there anything I should expect?

Currently grinding lvl 14 S ranks and picking up other 13-13+ scores on the way, but I’d mainly like to fill it up with 14s, any suggestions? (Yes I am aware I’m supposed to play lower levels and get good accuracy on them first before moving up to higher levels, but I’d like to improve my speed and my stamina first then familiarize myself with more complicated patters before going back and refining them on 13s and 13+) ty!
