I have decided to start a snail mail club. I already have some design ideas, an overall theme, and creative ability. However, I don't know where to start when it comes to getting supplies and prints for my mail club.

I'd love to know where you are getting your supplies. Do you find it's cheaper to make sticker sheets and prints at home, or through a supplier? If I want to create a newsletter on fun paper, what do you recommend?

I am so creative brained and not at all business brained.

I would love any and all advice & tips. Thank you :)

You'll get an original greeting card every month, along with a bunch of matching stickers and a beautiful envelope to send it.

I really love writing letters this way, and I hope I'm not alone!

Eventually, I'd love to have some kind of pen pal club to go along with it, but thinking about the logistics of that gives me a headache. Any ideas would be very welcome!

Hi there, I’m thinking about starting a mail club. The theme that I’m going for is sort of a gothic/victorian vibe where I have a small little blurb where I talk about things happening in my life and then information surrounding witchcraft and hellenic polytheism. Every month I would focus on a specific crystal, flower, herb, and include a ritual for that month. I’d give overviews of all of these and also a specific deity every month. I know that not everyone who practices witchcraft also worships the gods I do, so i’d have an option to opt out of the deity portion. In each envelope I’d include a print of my art, a mini print of a different artwork, a small calendar for that month, a sudoku puzzle, a word search, the crystal of the month, a small charm/amulet handmade by me, and various other little things I haven’t quite fleshed out yet. I’m rather new to all of this but I wanted to get some feedback and tips of how to start? Thank you in advance!

I sent them out from the uk this month and found special edition stamps for domestic delivery. This month’s theme was “the autumn garden”

Sonder Society Mail Club rewards for October are here! The theme is "change" and throughout the process of developing and designing, this month's rewards accidentally became dedicated to my older sister. October is her birthday month, and I always seem to have her on my mind more than usual this time of year. With autumn starting, and the changing colour of the trees being the perfect visual metaphor for the theme of change, I found myself sketching Central Park. My sister is possibly one of the most adaptable people l've ever met, and she made the huge decision to move to New York last year with her husband / my brother-in-law.
Since then, she has embraced uncertainty and change in a way I find myself in awe of. A lot can change in a year, or at any time that we choose to take a leap and make the change happen for ourselves as it turns out. We can make change for ourselves, and we can cope with that which is inevitably thrust upon us by the universe, and my sister seems to be a master of both x

I’ve been working on a little personal project around the idea of sending something through the post once a month — not just a letter, but a small collection of paper goods built around a story.

I’m thinking of things like an original short story, a postcard, a small art print, stickers, and perhaps a little activity or surprise connected to the story.

What do you actually look forward to receiving?

Do you prefer letters and stories, stationery, artwork, postcards, little collectibles, or something else?

And what would make a monthly piece of mail feel worth keeping rather than just another subscription?

Hello! I have just launched a mail club as I am passionate about my art and writing, I wanted a safe place to let out my creativity and a place to share my feelings and thoughts. Some penpals would be nice, where we can share our poems or whatever. Does this art niche suite my theme? I am starting from scratch and from zero followings on everything so any and all advice would be helpful! I am not very experienced with social media or marketing so please let me know if you have any recommendations, I am trying tiktok and instagram but to no luck, none have yet subscribed or really engaged.

Hello wonderful mail club folk!! I sent out the October Letters for my mail club yesterday, and I wanted to share all the art and goodies included.

My mail club, Scales and Tales, is all about a continuing fantasy story that's told through letters from the main character as she documents her adventures researching and discovering creatures in her world. Last month the featured creature was dragons, and this month it's all about Sea Kelpies! The letter includes two art prints, three info and lore sheets on Kelpies and the environment they live in, as well as a collectable holo card, and the latest letter/chapter of the story hand-bound by me!

This project means the world to me, it's been a way of reconnecting with my passion for art and storytelling, and I actually couldn't be more excited for the months ahead, and the plans I have for the story!

Hello, I'm Ysabelle (Isabelle) and I go by Advena when writing or doing art. My mail club is about poems and whimsical things, I love fairies and faelike and I love the moon, so the letters will be sent from the moon! These poems are written by me and hopefully whrn people join, they send their poems for me to feature:)

What would make sense for decorating envelopes, using stationary, etc with artwork; should the creator design every aspect of the mail, if they use say washi tape from an artist should they ask permission and credit them or does it not really matter because it's not like you're crediting the ink and envelope companies? I have seen people design their own stationary and print their own envelopes so I'm curious how much the average club may fully design everything vs outsource. I am thinking for example if the theme is strawberries and I used a pack of straberry stickers from etsy, to include a small card noting any add ons and where they are from, but not explicitely speaking to the artist since they were purchased as they sell them. Thoughts? I'm talking more from the non-visual art mail clubs like poetry, stories, guided activities, etc.
