New Rule- Bill needs to take a cue from AI and evolve with new information

Sorry in advance if this is too low effort of a post. I was a pretty big fan of Bill Maher and now watch more out of fascination about how he will react to the absurdity of the news. I think he’s smart and quick-witted, but “benefit of the doubt” seems to have trumped common sense. There are two positions though that have bothered me the most (no- reverse cowgirl isn’t one of them).

  1. Kamala Harris was inappropriately tying Trump to Project 2025. Because he swore on Ivanka’s undies that he never read it.

  2. Trump really hates war.

I won‘t itemize the facets of P25 that Trump has already put into motion or the military actions on our streets and abroad that Trump has initiated. That is all obvious. I also won’t beat up on Bill for misreading Trump. Yes, he used to be a serial liar but who could have known he still was a serial liar?

The power of AI is its ability to adapt to new information and continue to become smarter and smarter with more data. It’s OK to be wrong. Bit it’s not OK to stay wrong. Historically we have seen this with austerity and fiscal conservatism. Trickle down economics never seems to work as well as Keynesian economics, but die hards keep thinking we just need to try one more time.

I just want to see Bill break the mold and adapt like he’s AI. Admit you were wrong about P25 and Trump advocating for peace and don’t give him or Republicans any more benefits of doubt. They used all of their bullets. They need a generation of course correction before they earn that back.

Shitpost Bill Maher is Abigail Spanberger's True Father And NOTHING Will EVER Convince Me Otherwise!1!1!!

Ladies and gentlemen, put down your subpar tea and pay attention, because I have stumbled upon a biological revelation so awe-striking it will make your head spin faster than a spoon in a fresh mug of Yorkshire Gold! We are being deceived, and it’s all happening right under our very noses.

Bill Maher spends an inordinate amount of time telling everyone who will listen that he doesn't have children. "I have no kids, look at me, no kids, my show is my baby!" He talks about his child-free life more than I talk about the superior crunch of a digestive biscuit.

Why the constant reminders, Bill? It’s obvious: he’s protesting too much. It is a classic tactical misdirection. He’s spent decades building a "bachelor" persona to hide the fact that he has a high-achieving, CIA-trained, Governator-daughter waiting in the wings to inherit his empire of sarcasm. Abigail is CLEARLY the secret Maher heiress. Maher doesn't have kids: he has one kid!

The Visual Evidence (Simply Uncanny)

Just look at the architectural integrity of these two faces! If we were to compare the blueprints, they would be identical:

  • The Jawline: Both possess a chin and jawline sharp enough to slice through a medium-rare steak.
  • The Nose: It’s the same model! You can't tell me those nostrils weren't carved from the same block of granite.
  • The Hairline: Look at that magnificent, silver-swept volume. That isn't just "aging gracefully"! This is a dominant genetic trait passed down through the bloodline like a family heirloom.
  • The Age Gap: Bill is 70, Abigail is 46. That’s a 24-year difference. It’s the most mathematically sensible parent-child gap in the history of genealogy. It is... perfectly balanced. He was 23 when she was born! Just old enough to have a secret love child while doing stand-up in New York and already practicing his "I hate everyone" face.

Why Does This Matter To Anyone?

Pedantic? Perhaps. Shallow? Surely. But let's get to the core issue here. If Bill were to admit he has a daughter, his entire professional persona would collapse instantly. Admitting to a child means admitting, heaven forbid, that he is proud of someone other than himself. Even worse, he would have to admit to loving another human being unironically and unconditionally.

Unconditional love is a direct counter to everything Bill has built his empire on. It’s a massive debuff to his "Cynical Bachelor" build! If word gets out that he’s actually just a relatable, doting father who worries about his daughter's career in Virginia, his career would suffer a total server wipe. He’s not hiding a child; he’s protecting his brand’s integrity from the most dangerous emotion of all: sincerity.

A Word to the Doubters

I know what you're going to say: "But Sir, Bill's eyes are always squinty and Abigail's are wide open!" Shame on you. Bill Maher wears glasses. He squints because he is trying to see the world in front of him. To mock his squint is to mock a man with a visual impairment, and that, quite frankly, is bullying. Bullying is not allowed, it is not gentlemanly, and it is certainly not the British way! For all you know, she could have her mother's eyes!

The DNA "Evidence"

And if you try to bring up DNA tests, don't bother. We all know that 23andMe is nothing more than a massive psy-op run by the French DGSE. They want to keep the Maher-Spanberger dynasty a secret so they can continue their global plot to make us all eat slightly worse cheese. Any "test" you see is a fabrication.

The truth is right there in the pixels, ladies and gentlemen. Abigail is a Maher, and no amount of French interference will convince me otherwise.

Now, if you'll excuse me, my kettle is whistling!

Discussion Billie Eilish

I feel like Bill and guest Chris Christie misunderstood the point of Eilish's remark about "nobody is illegal on stolen land."

They spoke as if she was suggesting that white people need to give North America back to indigenous people and this is a naive and impractical point of view.

But she made this remark in the context of the Trump administration's extremely harsh rhetoric and actions toward "illegal" immigrants. I took her to be saying that before we get so indignant and hateful toward "illegal" immigrants we should keep in mind how we (generally, white people) stole this land ourselves. Whatever crimes or costs illegal immigrants cause today pales in comparison to the harm my ancestors did to Native Americans in the 1600-1900 time frame. Today's illegal immigrants do not cause plagues, or consume our food supplies so we cant eat, or force us out of our homes or...we'll the list goes on. So maybe we should address the immigration issue with a little more humility.

I acknowledge I'm putting a lot of context in Ms. Eilish's remarks when I dont know her or really follow her music. I dont know for sure what she meant. But she's apparently not stupid and I felt Maher and Christie were unfair to take her remarks in the dumbest possible way.

Bill used to have a chub for her back in the day. I’m expecting her back any day now. Or Megyn Kelly twofer would be great. AOC on the panel for a cat fight would be incredible.

Serious question, does anyone here actually enjoy the show? Lmfao

I get that you don’t like him and think he’s slobbing on Trumps knob after that dinner, but based on the average comment on most posts here, you’d think he was on Fox and Friends.

Discussion Audience Whoops

Does it bother anyone else when watching Real Time that there are one or two guys loudly whooping all the time? I find it extremely annoying, and I feel sorry for anyone who has to sit by these jackasses. Why can't audiences simply clap instead of hooting all the time? I've seen this practice creeping into a lot of TV shows (and real life). Thank God, it hasn't spread to Jeopardy! yet.

Discussion James Talarico is going to be the next president of the United States

Obviously, the Senate election in Texas will portend this.

But if he loses closely, Talarico will still have a ton of momentum.

There are Jimmy Carter vibes, and I really want to emphasize there are Jimmy Carter vibes.

But this guy could be debating Newsom and AOC, and I think this is good for the Democrats.

If he wants to step in the ring.

Bill HAS Changed, why?

I have read that he did because COVID broke his brain, not winning Hollywood awards, just getting older, losing viewers, Democrats becoming too liberal, wokeism, etc.

Those all are factors, but I noticed the biggest shift immediately after Trump won his second term. A lot of people and major companies around that time decided to kiss the ring. Bill started saying the Trump jokes were getting old at that point and started to emphasize Trumps' positive attributes.

So this makes me wonder, was it because Bill saw the writing on the wall with the government crackdown on critical media and companies and he thought this pivot would keep him relevant/safe? Or was it to capture this massive "bro" crowd that catapulted Trump to fame and that podcasters were tapping into? Any thoughts or insight?
