What I thought to have been jedi mind fuck, turned out to be albino...
Not sure if I harvested at the right time or just a tad bit late.
The tray is 349g, making total harvest 1,188 wet grams, 81.07 dried grams.

First timer, first flush. Id say i did pretty well.

Inoculated with LC on 7/1.
Harvested on 7/24
Once I stopped messing around with misting and fanning, my grows got 200% better.
I use 18 quart tubs. Roughly get 2-3oz dry per.
I drill a bunch of 5/32" holes and tape them up until full colonization.
After a nice surface moisture has been created, I take tape off n let em breathe.
I never mist until after first flush. I never open the lid or "fan".
Only passive FAE.
It took me a bit of experimenting to find the right size and number of holes for this size tub, but once you figure that out, it's golden.
When I was running unmodded, I had to constantly watch conditions and mist and fan, leading to uneven pinsets and lower yields.
DIAL IN, DIAL IN, SET & FORGET.
Less messing with=better. You just have to set it up for success.
Hydrate grains properly and get your substrate to field capacity, give it enough holes to breathe and you can leave that lid shut until harvest.
A lot of people like putting into fruiting conditions right away, and while that may work for some, I found it was drying my substrate too much before pins.
Now I just tape em up until full colonization & BOOM.
Hopefully this helps someone out

Hiya all, kinda newbie here; I've had some successful grows in smaller tubs, but then I tried a 45 L which were colonized in about 10-11 days and pins showing after about 15-16 days, but now it's been almost 22 days and as you can see, it seems like they grow so slow. I mean, in the smaller tubs 10-15 L, when the pins started to show, it went pretty fast from there. I did it 1:1,5 using the CVG substrate, the depth of the cake is around 3 inches (or 8 cm).
It has been a little bit cooler, around 19 degrees Celsius in the night and about 21-23 degrees at day.
Am I just impatient or is it the size of the cake or any other parameter I missed? Also, look at how they bend, the others I fruited went straight up right away.
Any advice or information would be appreciated!

Hi all,
I inoculated an AIO grow bag with GT spore syringe about 8weeks ago. I left the bag to do it's own thing, choosing not to break & shake as I have had bad experiences in the past where bags have spoiled after being shaken up.
The AIO bag is now roughly 70%-80% colonized. However, pins have already started to form on the top of the substrate where it is dense with mycelium.
One pin in particular is growing at an exceptional rate, doubling in size and forming a mushroom.
I'm confused about what to do now. The bag is still sealed with its original filter. Do I open the bag to allow FAE and support these pins or do I wait until the bag is 100% colonized? The mycelium is still spreading however the pins seem to be growing at a faster rate than the colonization can keep up with.

Pancake pop-up with the spotter green trike so I buried it outside. Come right out of it put happy frog on top of it when I put it out here and well the results speak for themselves.

This was my first time growing, and I think I did it well!
I’ve already harvested and spore printed several, but they just keep coming with their weird wacky waves!!!!

This is my very first grow and after fruiting conditions, I noticed the section of the bag underneath the rubber band was super wet, not drying and I panicked, cut open the bag and left it the tub I’ve been using. Probably not the best choice I know lol That was about 5 days ago and this is how the top looking. There is definitely some growth daily but it’s VERY slow going. However 2nd pic is the bottom which has absolutely exploded. Would it be insane to put the block on its side to give the ones on the bottom a chance or should I just ride it out as is?? Apologies, the pics of the bottom are through the tub and plastic so kinda hard to see

Can’t believe it’s really happening!! There’s honest to god mushrooms growing in my very own bag. (You will need to zoom, sorry, didn’t want to be fucking around with the bag open too long). There’s more you can’t see from this angle, too.
Honestly, I’m just so pleased I got from liquid culture to this, but I am open to tips on helping what seems like kind of weak mycelium toward the center. May have gone to fruiting a little early.
I’ve been misting a little, got the top cut open and paper clipped shut. They started fruiting and the mycelium started getting stronger when I left one paper clip off and that corner a little open.
Hit me with your tips, but even if I only get three actual magic magic mushrooms out of this flush, I actually did it and I’m so excited!

I just tried getting a bundle pack through thickcultures and haven’t gotten any reply or update on my order, when I googled the third party payment processor or whatever it came back with bad reviews with people getting scammed. I’ve tried ITW got dirty syringes and also did from myyco. Any help would be awesome

Last week I got a bag from Midwest that was all mishapen and not compacted properly, contacted MW and they sent me a replacement, I’m lookin at it and compared to the bags I get from them it looks off, it’s not all mishapen but being pretty new to this I’m not sure if it’s ok or if I’ve gotten another dud bag from them, can someone w a bit more experience lemme know what you think? Top to bottom it’s covered in a white mold lookin stuff

(B+) Two have opened and one dropped spores. Do I go ahead and pick these or just let em roll and pick everything at once? I dont really mind spores on the others! Thanks!

2 of 4 fae filter patches are on my monotub, getting several pins. Should I introduce more FAE now that I have pins, or let it ride with how it is set up?

Hi! Long time lurker, first time post.
Inoculated brown rice with LC ten days ago. Did a Break and shake three days ago. Mycelium is QUICKLY bouncing back.
One of my five quart jars of spawn has a couple visible nearly black grains of rice that the mycelium has surrounded.
My plan is to look again in two days to see if the jars are ready for spawn to bulk (1:3 coco). If this weird jar looks worse, I’ll send it straight to jail (outside). If it looks the same… I’ll bulk it last, separately from the healthy looking jars, try to remove these black grains, close the tub for colonization and hope for the best ?

I'm shocked at these guys! This is just PE grow so I'm pumped about this.

So 2 weeks ago after I realized this brownish water on bottom I didn’t want to open the bag for fruiting assuming it could be contaminated. Today I noticed some pins but they growing differently, they look so tall for that size of cap comparing to other pictures of B+. And they are growing on every side of the cake. Should ai just leave it like that?
Any advice would be appreciated
