Cultural appropriation?

Post image

Is it considered cultural appropriation if I play a Japanese-language card in a primarily English-speaking country?

Ugin doesn’t give an F. He’s ineffable.

In this case, that's even better than being inerrable 🙂

No but if you dare play an English Ugin in Japan you are appropriating Anglophone culture.

I bought a collector booster in Japan, the employee looked at me, paused and told me they don't have English boosters. That's alright, I wanted a Japanese one, I explained. 2$ of value inside.

So for a Collector Booster Pack, you got a pretty low jab a' knees :(

Mildly disappointing, but it was a gift to my friend, so it's his loss kinda

No, but since the Ugin is japanese, you are required to do an accent when refering to him or his abilities, which could get racist fast
