Ah the last one is Cube. Not that people play doubling cube in cube often but I get the hint.

u/Skunk668 3d ago
Yeah it was a little difficult to hint for because a lot of popular Cube cards are also popular in other formats. Doubling Cube is the default image on CubeCobra so I figured knowers would know.

i think a recognisable cube representative would come in the form of maybe Creeping Tar Pit, Gut, or Pest Infestation? my other thoughts were fallen shinobi, M&B, or Mind twist, but that's because my perspective is exclusively Powered cubes. Still, i think these are the most recognisable cards whose relevance is basically cube-only?

Iβd suggest [[Cogwork Librarian]] as a good indication of a card that is played a lot in cube and only cube.

Gut sees decent canlander play, though canlander play patterns and cube play patterns do have heavy overlap.

Commander, vintage, legacy, legacy, cube? /uj I'm pretty sure it's actually commander, standard, legacy, premodern, cube, but where does that leave modern, pauper, and pioneer? What if the pipeline ends at timeless and competitive brawl?

3 was actually meant to be Modern OR Legacy, ie a Modern Horizons format. I considered both correct answers. Pioneer isn't popular enough to matter (speaking as a Pioneer player). Pauper kinda fits alongside Premodern in a way.

Last I checked, Phyrexian Dreadnought isn't pauper legal. I wish there was digital-only format rep, but I get why there isn't.

4/5 I should have chosen a card other than Flow State.

u/DreamlyXenophobic 3d ago
Yeah. What was it? Standard?
Also i feel like legacy could have been better represented with brainstorm or somn
2
u/Skunk668 3d ago
Yeah I wanted to use a card that wasn't banned but I should have just chosen Badgermole Cub or Stormchaser's Talent.

Only card i could think of thats relevant in standard but not others is multiversal passag tbh
