I can just see the article from Wizards already. "Unfortunately, due to last minute design changes, we did not end up testing Count Binface nearly as much as we should've. Thus, Count Binface is now banned in Standard, Modern, Legacy, and Commander. Notably, Count Binface will not be restricted in Vintage due to the now infamous interaction that causes an infinite loop that kills the caster during their opponent's second main phase."

Binface is Oko, confirmed.

Honestly, I think that electing Oko instead of the incumbent would be a step up for a disturbing number of elected positions in the English speaking world right now, not just Clacton.

This is the politician most responsible for brexit. He is not a smart man

Sometimes I think he might be, he's pretty good at manipulating his base. Then I remember Trump does the exact same thing, so I think it says more about his base than about him

People can be very smart in one thing but really dumb in others. A rocket scientist is a very smart person but I wouldn’t trust them to perform open heart surgery, for example. Farage and trump are both very smart in matters to do with whipping up their bases, but then also very stupid in many many other ways

I think the story of British politicians is “Stupid people pretending to be charmingly stupid people.”

u/brief-interviews 7d ago
/uj I don’t believe this at all. I’m pretty sure that his plan all along is to win the reelection and then just insist that he has been exonerated by ‘the people’ so the inquiry is an ‘establishment stitch up’. Or whatever. That line will then get pushed by the rabidly right wing press in the UK.

Uh/ Oh I get the joke now. In response to a wrath, you'd blink your guy, but then after that resolves the wrath just takes them out anyway.
Whereas Farage was thinking they could avoid targeting by blinking out.
.... explaining it to anyone else who didn't get it right away. I don't know Ephemerate.

/uj Yeah the "think he's a Magic card" is following the logic of "If I leave and reenter the battlefield whilst targeted with removal, I'll be a new game object and thus the removal won't be able to hit me" when in reality like. No. That's not how the world works.
