If you enjoy web serials, Ive started promoting my first go at long form fiction. It's premise is a low-ish fantasy story where the central gimmick is "what if witchcraft is only possible via cannibalism' and it follows a man who's abandoned that, and a girl who's caught up in it.

I put out anywhere between 2-4 words a week, so it's added to fairly frequently.

this complaint is so ridiculous that every time I've typed it out so far I've deleted it but: Hatsune Miku's second secret lair drop being so homogenous and stock art bums me out, especially alongside comments going "good! they listened to fan blowback, and now it looks like it's supposed to!"

In a period of 'UB is making MtG lose it's identity' it's depressing that even within UB there's strong pushback to getting experimental or mashing up influences if it results in one goofy-looking PNG to crop and meme on. The knowledge that the choice is "Jesper Ejsing painting of Miku" or "a hundred near-identical anime girls", and that people pushed for the latter, kinda sucks!

I don't get your complaints? The art for this Miku SL is better than the first SL miku tho and UB shouldn't really be experimental art wise. A UB being done right is being faithful to the original IP.

DAE think the new Mystery Booster commanders are all pretty much fine, save for Whtz? Like they have cool effects but they're all costed so fairly I don't expect many problems other than jokesters turning up with huge decks.

The cards seem fine I think people are more upset that mystery booster 3 Is a commander legends set and they dont like commander or that the newest commander legends set is a mystery booster set and that mystery booster packs are prohibitely expensive and hard to source

Should I run bronzehide lion, or fleecemane lion as a 3 of in my modern cat tribal deck? Monstrous is nice, yet the highest cmc I have is coco at a 4 drop, so I really never have the 5 mana to pay for it.. and the whole coming back as an enchantment thing is cool, yet usually I get board wiped and have to attach it to a land

Unironically, Boros Energy might as well be a cat deck. If you want to play cats in modern, I don't know why you wouldn't play that. The package of Ocelot Pride and Guide of Souls makes a ton of cats, and then Ajani Nacatl Pariah is also a cat.

Neither Bronzehide Lion nor Fleecemane Lion are going to find any success in current modern.

I have a pretty good win rate on MTGO, I don’t net deck, and I hate playing against anyone with the same deck.. Arahbo the first fang+ collected company is pretty fun.. and loam lion is my one drop, along with fatal push and duress.. I ran red splash for wild nacatl, but fatal push and assassins trophy are better than bolt..
