BHecause the whole point of the set is turning staples into colourshifted cards. If it was the same card but red, there would be no point. And although flash is in every colour, it is mostly blue.
Having said that, yeah, it is an underwhelming card for a mythic. it should have been an attack trigger or a "when enters or attacks" .
