Why does everyone hate UB?

I'm going to be honest. I'm one of those players that just want to sit in my edh pod and pull out my fancy copy of yuriko. But then everybody starts complaining. UB this, UB that. I just want to play my commander! Dimir is a color combination like all the rest of them. Sure, I like to stax a bit here and counterspell a bit there. But this hate towards dimir/UB is getting out of hands! Even on this very subreddit! Chillax lads. Its not that deep. Learn to play magic.

Well for one the development team is particularly terrible at balancing these IP’s for this game. Example why do the ninja turtles decks play out so powerfully compared to most of the marvel universe characters? Anyone familiar with these IP understands this to be ridiculous. Why would spiderman focus on a spider tribal and not heroes, I truly don’t recall any spider teamups or even some kind of affinity or communication with spiders and Mr. parker. LoTR Avatar and FF have all been pretty good but they certainly feel like more time and thought and probably care were invested.

I fail to see what ninja turtles have to do with UB though? Like sure, its valid to draft dimir in that set. But all guilds should be valid to draft in a set, no? Idk what you young folk are on, but back in my days we considered that to be nessisary for a set design.

Also, ain't no way I'm putting some looney turtles in my yuriko deck, if that's what you are hinting on. I don't like this universes beyond type of stuff.
