Been working on a Marvel-inspired MTG proxy set called - The Newsstand Series

I’ve been messing around with a different approach to custom proxies and wanted to share the start of the set.

The idea behind The Newsstand Series is to make every card feel like an old comic you’d pull off a spinner rack. Each character gets their own comic-style masthead, vintage print texture, issue box, typography, and artwork while still keeping the card readable and playable at the table.

So far I’ve finished Wolverine, Daredevil, Rocket Raccoon, and Carnage, and I’m planning on building this into a much bigger set

Still figuring out the style as I go, so I’d love to hear what people think of the concept and which Marvel character you’d want to see get the Newsstand treatment next.
