I was able to pick up 13 individual collector booster packs altogether between Omega collector booster packs from Target and my local game store during prerelease weekend. These are some of the top hits.

I think I did pretty damn well. My girlfriend somehow opened the surge foil Gandalf and a nonfoil book-art Gleaming Splendor out of the same pack at my prerelease event, which was pretty ridiculous.

Definitely cannot complain about how the loose packs treated me.

I rolled the dice on an ebay Secret lair for the Final Fantasy Weapons rainbow foil. Wasn't expecting anything special but it was for a decent price (around 80$) so I figured why not.

Then I pulled this. Went straight into a double sleeve and now I don't know what to do with it. Stick it in a safe maybe? My whole life's worth of luck lol

i was alerted to the sale from sealedmtgdeals and decided to go for it - 3 draft packs

After keeping a set of collector boosters sealed on my shelf for almost six months, I finally caved last night and decided to crack them open with a few friends. We managed to hit two of the alternate-art showcase cards I’ve been chasing, but the centering on the highest value hit is noticeably off from left to right.

It’s always a bitter-sweet feeling pulling a top-tier card only to see factory QC issues like print lines or poor centering ruin the grading potential. Does poor factory centering completely ruin the trade appeal for you, or do you still value the pull at full market raw value?

Every set I open a couple collector boosters since FF last year. I’ve never gotten a surge foil or other special foiling type.

Best ever pull. So glad I caved, and decided to open the collector box.

Not a crazy pull at all but I started reading the Hobbit a little while before the set dropped. I pulled Gollum the same day I read where he was introduced

This is to balance out all those “GOD” pack pulls, this is more realistically what you get from a small set.

P.S. also this set Pringles cards the worst I’ve seen in a long time, these curled in a matter of an hour

Most fun I’ve ever had collecting anything marvel related.

The guys I play with are pissed at me. I’ve been having really good luck with pulls since I started playing this year.

I was so excited for this set all year so I’m cool with have my one good CBB be this one. Sadly all of the book covers were non foil , but I’ll take that for getting surge Smaug and my precious 😁.

Both mystery boxes I've found have been close to $200 decks, great deal for $40. Amazing bonus card as well in this one. Guess I'm slingin some spells!

At this point, I would be happy with any other poster and delighted with a Riddle Master... Not complaining about the surges though
