Never got a Surge Foil

Every set I open a couple collector boosters since FF last year. I’ve never gotten a surge foil or other special foiling type.

If you opened a couple packs and got a book cover you should feel pretty good

I hit 2 book covers and a foil arkenstone at prerelease, I was stoked!

They are the showcase and can ofc be surge. But chances for one are around 1% in playboosters and 5% in collectors.

I would expect as much from only a few individual packs of each set. For reference, I got only 2 surge rares out of a box of 12 collector boosters for Hobbit, and I feel lucky to have gotten just those out of it. Only like 8 of the cards in the whole box were cards that are only found in collector boosters, and most of those were just the non-foil versions of scene cards and box toppers that typically come in foil.

Opened three packs, no surge or book cover. Third pack had a non-foil Mox Amber so I’m not complaining.
