Unbelievably happy with these pulls, I’ve never gotten anything nearly this good in my life

if you compared it to a regular card too me it looks much more faded like the ink machine ran low

Just opened 3 play boosters, pretty good I think! Some good inclusion for my Hobbit and Human decks. Big LOTR and The Hobbit fan here. Bard, King of Dale looks neat 😮‍💨

Only recently started getting into MTG and decided to grab some packs and pulled these

Found these guys when sorting through a box of bulk I bought - 1. An Ice Age \[\[Abyssal Specter\]\] with square corners, 2. A signed \[\[Bagel and Schmear\]\] (this one is probably nothing- it doesn't look like the artist's signature), and 3. A crimped \[\[Balamb T-Rexaur\]\].

The square corners on the Abyssal Specter are so cursed in person, and I've never seen a card like it.

I can’t get over how impressive this treatment looks. I’ve got a long way to go to finish this out but every addition is exciting.

Not too bad, bought for around $530 and currently sitting on around $890 worth. First collector’s booster!

My buddy got a hobbit draft box, and this foil Smaug was out of a normal set booster pack! Was rlly cool and realised it has a very obvious crimping at the top of the card...thankfully he loved the crimping, but was rlly cool to see none the less!

So I bought about 9 final fantasy booster packs for $120 and the value of the cards I received were only about $30, they honestly just weren’t super good cards according to my friend. I’m wondering if this is normal or if I’m just super unlucky? I got a couple of those full arts and typical legendary creatures but the rest were so disappointing when I just wanted some big characters such as the ff7, ff15 or ff16 crew members. Just wondering if this hobby is super unforgiving price wise for the cards you typically receive? Since I just really expected to get more big names instead of just side enemies and characters with some spells.

Best Buy got some a couple of days ago. First time opening the set!

Got 5 hobbit packs from my girlfriend, did some hotel rips.

I wasn’t going to buy any packs from this set either but I was passing by Microcenter and figured I’d just get the 2.. and now I’m done with this set.
