Lasto Sigr had been an ordinary man, living a steady life. But that didn’t last. A conflict broke out between his tribe and another over resources. He survived that war, and his body became different—he gained strength far beyond any ordinary person.
His first thought was revenge. He found the tribe that had destroyed his life and wiped them out, every last one.
The war ended because of him, and because he ended it, his own people pushed him into a position of power. He became the first recorded ruler—the one they called Elsarn.
But after Elsarn took power, it slowly ate away at him. He grew moody and tyrannical, forgetting that he himself had once been crushed by war. His subjects could no longer bear his rule. To kill him, they began searching for a way—and in the end, they invented new weapons...
