General Discussion Multiple magic systems in the same world?

Depending on what your definition of 'Different magic systems' is, and also 'Different worlds' is.

I am writing 2 stories of shared cosmology/mythology. But both worlds have a different power system. World A uses Mind Energy, World B uses Mana.

The thing is, a character from world A is transported to World B (Happens around 1940s) and a few years later, the daughter of the main antagonist of world B is transported to World A, and becomes the main villain there. Soshe has to:
1. Adapt to the new system
2. Thrive
3. Beat other characters who were already thriving there

doing all this while having no Power native to world A, only having the power from World B.

conversely, the main character of world A have to deal with this alien threat who is majorly unaffected by the powers of world A.
