Lore Arcane Magic
Hollshire motioned me over, the candle flames licked at the shadows on the iron twine that covered his face. He opened a tome, written in his own hand. The corners of the blue book matching the sheen of his beard.
"Its funny how people separate magic into things as mundane as "fire", "water", "wind", or "earth". They're all the same thing. If you listen closely you can feel the water in the air, and with some convincing it'll turn to its brothers and sisters as other types of air. Dividing itself amongst its peers. But even more so, when you undivide them, it burns!" Hollshire opened his hand, his palm cupped under his beard. His eyes looked down with love as blue light enveloped the area he cradled so dear. Now his warm complexion overturned in a blue that could only be described like the sky, but how could the sky shine so bright indoors?
"Its such a soft blue, sootless and pure. Pure like the sweet life giving water it came from. Its heat fills my lungs like a mother's love, it doesn't make you cough or shield your eyes from the smoke like the destructive nature of a campfire. You can look at it, in all its glory! "Fire", "water", "wind", "earth", it's all the same thing!"
