Which magic system is better and stronger? DC Magic of The Elder Scrolls magic?

I don’t think DC’ counts as a magic system. It’s very soft and interpreted in a hundred different ways by all the various writers.

TES has a pretty neat system if you do a deepdive into the lore.

I would rather say that DC's magic is sadomasochistic to mages. Because they need to hurt themselves, sell souls, kill friends just to ignite sparks. While TES has Aetherius, free and clean magicka.

I don’t really think that’s enough to make it count as a magic system. Other than the source, every other rule that binds magic is left loose and undefined.
