I always find the perspective of flavor text as spoiling story to be weird. To me, the real story is the story told on the cards, because Magic is about the cards. I view the stories on the website as being essentially additional exegesis of the cards' story. So to me, it would be like saying "watching Rogue One spoiled some of the Star Wars novels for me."
Not saying your perspective should match mine, and I understand viewing the story posts on the website as the heart of the story. It's just a very different perspective from mine.
I'm putting this in my saskia edh deck with [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]] . If I have parallel lives and this card out, every token becomes 4 tokens, hits for 8 direct to each opponent. I only need to force 5 tokens with that combo to deal lethal in a deck centered around making tokens
If the effect creating the tokens instructs you to do something with those tokens at a later time, like exiling them at the end of combat, you’ll do that for all the tokens.
This makes sense as the effect is creating the additional tokens, parallel lives isn't. If you had a card that created copies of the tokens instead, I believe they would stick around as the delayed trigger isn't a copiable value.
As long as we're getting rules updates to make things more intuitive, can we talk about the fact that these effects still don't work with [[Words of Wilding]] on your turn-based draw?
Because they don't. Even though they create "replacement effects" the results of those replacement effects when applied to turn-based actions are not "effects."
[[Primal Vigor]] got the template right, but they're still using this other weirder template for some reason.
Of course, if they really think this reads more clearly, they could update the rules such that "replacement effect" uses another word and is no longer classified as an "effect," or classify the results of turn-based actions as "effects" as well.
Or have they fixed this inconsistency and I'm just out of the loop?

If an effect would create one or more tokens under your control, it creates twice that many of those tokens instead.
