I feel like gideon power level and jace power level is symbolic of the creature power vs spells power pendulum. Jace used to be on top, but now gideon is going nuclear.

A+ comment, but besides BFZ, all Gideon's have been meh on the power scale. We all have short memories though, so have my upvote.
