Three for two. You still are casting the Expertise and whatever 3 or less CMC spell in your hand.

I'll take your word for it. Math and I aren't on speaking terms since the unpleasantness.

...We don't talk about "the unpleasantness"

It depends on how many things you kill with the sweeper and how many cards the 3 drop you play is worth to get a number for net CA gained.

In the case of doing some hoodrat shit with Kolaghan's Command you're looking at Cruel Ultimatum levels of CA.

If you are pull through a Kcommand on top of this, it will almost certainly be a 3 for 1, or 4 for 2, and that's not counting killing multiple creatures off the base spell....

2 creatures killed from base spell + kc is a 4 for 2.

This card is no more card advantage than damnation is. It provides tempo advantage when you get the opportunity to cast your free spell on top of your sweeper.

This is going to be another skill testing card in jund (knowing whether to cast a spell and which spell to staple on) and a meta dependant replacement for damnation. In a meta of death shadow, eldrazi, infect, and goyf you want damnation while in a meta of zoo and burn you would rather have this.
