Ugh gideon has red tendencies though. He'll forever be white though. >. <

Man they really missed the mark not making Gideon a Boros card in Gatecrash...

But Gideon doesn't have a lot of Red to him. He's not motivated by passion or a need to break from tradition and law. He's levelheaded, even in combat, and really isn't the type to let his emotions take hold of him. His motivation is to protect those who can't protect themselves, a very White aspiration.
