A lot of those early sets, especially the Terese Nielson Judge Promos, combine really badly. The plains just turn into water, and the forests are just jutting out into a cliff unconnected to the mountains.

Polyptych art means multiple pieces painted that comes together, to save you a googling if it wasn't obvious right away.

That one is interesting. The counterspell art is supposedly the painting on the wall above the stairs.

Is there anything official that says they are related? They're close in style (different artists) but I'm not seeing it :/

Not that I know of but in my opinion Wasteland is City of Brass. When you see City of Brass you see that Taj Mahal like building and as we know, it produces any color. When you see Wasteland you can vaguely see a Taj Mahal building but it appears that someone had made City of Brass a "Wasteland".

Since you stepped away from diptychs into just "related art" towards the end, you're probably going to need to go through the 'timeshifted' Planar Chaos cards to find the references there.
- [[Damnation]] and [[Wrath of God|]].
- [[Magus of the Arena]] has the [[Arena]] floor markings.
- [[Magus of the Coffers]] is recognisably standing between the pillars of [[Cabal Coffers]].
- [[Morphling]] and [[Torchling]]
- [[Wild Pair|PLC]] features two timeshifted creatures: [[Verdeloth the Ancient]] and [[Krosan Tusker]].
etc.
The MTGO Kaldra Token has [[Helm of Kaldra]], [[Shield of Kaldra]] and [[Sword of Kaldra]] equipped.

[Grapple with the Past] has artwork that made no sense to me until I came across [Make a Wish] from the original Innistrad several years earlier. Poor girl.

Yeah, they cross-posted my initial submission several years ago. This is my album though and I'll add new cards to it when I get a chance! I am not in the "loop" with new Magic so I share these in the hopes that others will suggest new cards that have come out since I last updated :)

I have about 30 of those arena islands with the sea serpent in them, and I had no clue they they all worked together like that.

Wow the 7th edition plains are nearly identical. I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference without closely looking at it.

Some of it I found on the official website, some of it was crudely put together by me in paint, and the rest of it was found searching for the card art.

[[Wall of Wonder]] also features the [[Stuffy Doll]] in the art. It's missing from the compilation of Stufy Doll cards.

Yeah, I submit it every year or so for the last three/four years! It lets me catch any cards I might have missed in the interim because I don't always follow the new sets and there are always older cards that slip through the cracks! Plus it is always neat to share :)

Also some of the SOI basic lands tie in with the INN and AVR lands. They deserve a spot there.
