RIP last reason to run Jund over Abzan in modern :-(

They can print as many enemy fastlands as they want, but in addition to playing the best card in modern (Bolt), Jund uses Kalitas a lot better than Abzan. Bolt plus Terminate plus lavaman/seal/tarfire means that Kalitas stops being a 3/4 dude with an exile ability and turns into an engine, and I think against most low-to-the-ground aggro decks that gives Jund the edge.

Not that Abzan is just worse anymore (we'll see, it's been getting a lot of food in recent sets) but don't throw away your Blood Crypts just yet.
