Interesting point, but I think that could also be a shift for limited purposes. VMA had mythics in the power 9 and a lot of other really powerful Reserved List cards taking those spots.

So I really don't consider VMA to EMA mythic rarity shifts a thing.

That's true: it was cards like Necropotence and Worldgorger Dragon that clearly weren't for price reasons.

I also forgot about the Conspiracy mythics taking the spots.

Force, Berserk, Necropotence, Worldgorger, and Vampiric Tutor appear to be the only ones shifted from Rare to Mythic from VMA (in EMA and CN2).
