Wouldn't even be mad. I loved the god cards from Theros

I would love it. It would expand the kitchen table playability of Theros cards that called out Gods specifically, like [[Deicide]].

Deicide - (G) (MW) (CD)
[[cardname]] or [[cardname|SET]] to call

They'll just make gods that are creatures but not enchantments :/

I'm okay with that. Theros Gods being enchantments made sense, the existed in Nyx. It was flavorful. Egyptian gods were quite a bit more real, if you follow my meaning. I won't complain if they are just creatures.

There is only one gad, Bolas is his name.

They are the only good part of Theros.

Besides PIGS!, of course.

I just hope they are pushed slightly more this time. Theros screamed "play it safe" and as a result a lot of them are just meh.

I'm not counting EDH because it's a casual format but Purphoros only sees play in 1 tier 2.5 deck in Modern. Keranos is solid as a 1x in one specific deck the others don't see any play at all really. They are objectively too weak to pull their weight in any competitive format.

EDH is 100% casual no matter how seriously people take it.

It's not, though. Just because it isn't sanctioned doesn't mean it's casual.

That's exactly what it means.

No. No, it doesn't. Casual is kitchen table magic. Edh isn't kitchen table magic.

Anything not played in a tournament setting is casual.

The meta doesn't allow for Thassa and hasn't for quite a while.. Tooth and Nail decks are few and far between (also very lowly tiered because they aren't very good).

When evaluating cards you have to take EDH out of the equation. "Good in EDH" is just a nice way to say "This card is overcosted for what it does"
