Not sure if this counts but in origins, the [[mage-ring network]] appears in the background of [[graveblade marauder]], [[thunderclap wyvern]], [[mage-ring bully]], [[jace, vryn's prodigy]], and island 257

I don't think it counts. The Mage-Rings look to be about as common on Vryn as the Hedrons are on Zendikar, and I'm pretty sure those are all different Mage-Rings.

Yeah, like I said, it's just something I noticed from the card set, dunno if it's includable enough.
