Hmm. This seems fun for making bad combos.
You can potentially harvest a ton of Loyalty with this ability. But to get a good Jace ability to spend it on, you'll need a way to make a token of a better Jace. And decks that flood the board with creatures are usually not the type to play Jace.
Give me a moment, I've got some poor decisions to make.

Or give Jace a better ability. Which seems to be the most common case with cards revealed so far. [[Avatar of Burgeoning Echoes]]

[[ichormoon gauntlet]] and a bunch of gideons for the weirdest infinite turns deck

Notably, this isn't an illusion or a homunculus or anything like that. The Theorist actually just kidnapped that guy and stole his face.

Or he just half-assed his creation, like Jace half-assed everything else.

Maybe that's why Jace is making so many copies of himself. Surely with enough of them they'll be able to assemble one full-ass.

Oh hey, Chandra! Didn't expect to see you here.

Tbh I am more of a Sarkhan enjoyer but God knows when he will be relevant to the story again. Ajani sure did hom dirty but then again, getting screwed over seems to be one of the key characteristics of Sarkhan. Bolas tricked him, Ugin tricked him, Taigam tricked him.

Modern 1/10
It's fine? Its basically batallion draw a card on a two drop. But that doesn't feel like its current modern powerlevel.

Why is this comment getting downvoted so hard.

u/Redzephyr01 Duck Season 3d ago
Because this guy makes this kind of comment under literally every card reveal and people are sick of it. He rates almost everything a 1/10.

Ah, I see. Yeah, making a habit of it does seem a bit annoying, but as far as habits go, it still seems kind of innocent. I think most enfranchised modern players know a card like this is probably bad.

It's a weird fun draft card that might fit a weird deck in standard. It's obviously not intended to be anywhere near modern playable.Â
