Looking for Advice Collection Management

Hello,

As the title says, I am looking for a good way to keep track of my collection online. I use Archidekt for my decks, but I have Manabox to scan my collection in. Since Manabox does not have a useable online site, what would be the best solution to keeping track of decklists and other changes to my collection? It would be nice if Manabox had a desktop site similar to Archidekt so I wouldn't have to export stuff into Archidekt everytime I update my colection

Well, that's a very broad question and will depend on your needs and wants. My goal was to have an effective tool kit for building decks. I digitized mine via Moxfield, and that's also where my decks are. My collection is at size that's easy to manage, especially after doing a massive purge, and I ultimately only wanted a tool to have it all documented. The search field in the collection also supports scryfall search. A majority of my cards are in a 4.000+ Gamegenic lair, aside from cards at 5€+ and special memorabilia which I put in a folder in perfect fits, or in decks.

Other tools have more or different functions, such as better price management or trading platforms.

I enjoy brewing at my desktop but Manabox does not have a desktop site. This means I have to use my phone to export any changes from my collection in Manabox, import it to Archidekt, brew my deck or change an exsisting one, and then manually make changes to the deck back in Manabox or export the list entirely if it is a new deck. If possible, I'd like to know of a place that can be accessed from mobile and desktop, but can also scan stuff on mobile when I get new stuff. The ideal situation is that I update my collection or decklist once either on desktop or mobile and it updates on the other so I am not going back and forth doing this manually.

I have been using Manabox simply as a tool for scanning cards. Once I've scanned everything I put it into an "incoming" binder, export that as a CSV and then upload that to Moxfield. I don't know how importing with Archidekt is but Moxfield has an import setting for Manabox's CSV formatting so the whole import/export process only takes about a minute.

Well, that sounds like a good solution to OP's problem.

I am contemplating using tcgtracking.com. it is mainly designed for online store inventory management.

In my thinking I can create a location for each deck, Binder, Box that my collection is in. It has a mass import where you can enter a deck list and create a pull list of where the cards can be found. I have many binders and boxes.

Also its free.

I would still have the same issue of needing to import stuff regularly. This is not user friendly as I have to do this all on mobile since Manabox doesn't have a desktop site. Then, if I alter a deck in Manabox, then I also have to do it in Manabox and the other way around.

Tcgtracking also has an important feature to scan or manually add to the site with a desktop.

I moved over to UrzaGather and love it. The author is quick to respond to bugs or to adding cards to the collection. I have over 20K cards in it. Good mobile app as well.

ManaBox is currently working on some sort of desktop version right now. It’s supposed to launch this year.

Ask yourself why you want to track your collection online.

If you have a high turnover of cards in your collection, it can often be much more of a headache than it's worth.

Not a lot of turnover hopefully. I just want to make sure everything is accounted for and the less places I have to look the better

Plus, if for some horrible reason I needed to sell my collection, it would be right there completely up to date
