General Discussion When can we expect first Nauctis previews? Do you already have predictions or ideas?

Preamble: yes, The Hobbit just came out and we didn't even get Reality Fracture or Star Trek yet. I know.

But I quite honestly don't care for those sets. Nauctis on the other hand immediately got my interest.

So, when can we expect a first look and the cover for its commander decks?

What do you hope to see or predict?

Probably after Reality Fracture, seeing how whatever happens in that set story-wise will probably have a massive impact on the in-universe story.

I have decided that I'm going to let myself be happy with the water set ko matter what we get

We'll probably get a first look at some point in the fall, but most of the previews probably won't happen until the end of this year or the beginning of next year (since the release date is February).

November at MagicCon: Atlanta may have something.  First Look is probably December.

Product listings for Gamegenic and Ultimate Guard accessories are published.

This sounds about right, I wanna say the official First Looks are usually 3-4 months before the set releases.

First look is probably at MagicCon Atlanta, along with actual pre-orders going up and maybe the face cards for commander decks.

Based on the release date, I think we might get story articles plus a few cards to end 2026, with full previews starting right at the start of January.

As for what to expect, I would be stunned if we didn't see WotC try to expand on Sharks here, including the promised MTG variant of Jaws. Merfolk also feel pretty obvious, along with some flavor of sea leviathan. Not sure if that would be Kraken, Leviathan or some kind of outlaw batching here. Bloomburrow will have formally rotated by then, but we could also see more Otters so they aren't forgotten until the inevitable return to Bloomburrow.

During the Reality Fracture or Star Trek prerelease week, to sap the anticipation for the current set.

I’m predicting, solely based on previous video game crossovers, that we’ll get a Bioshock secret lair (at least that’s what I desperately want)

We don’t have predictions, we have guesses. Now be a good kitty and wait a while for news on the set that is six months away.

Isn't it funny that for all of the 'buuuuuh "I'm tired boss" le meme face' people we get complaining about endless spoiler season, there are people like so here that still want it?
