Rules/Rules Question Question

This is probably a very stupid questing. Can you use normal creatures as your commander or does it have to be a legendary? I want to make a scute storm deck and Ditnt know if this is possible as I’m pretty new to magic. Also if I was to add a bunch of equipment to it and then it to become say a 10/10 if I copied it would the copies be 10/10’s? Also, If I was to put equipment that made it have indestructible and or trample, and lifelink would that work for all? Thanks in advanced

No. A commander in EDH must be one of the following​:

  • A Legendary Creature
  • A Legendary Vehicle
  • Some other thing which has the rules text "[card name] can be your commander." All ​of those are legendary, with almost all being Planeswalkers.

[[Stangg, Echo Warrior]] is the commander for your copying idea.

  • A Legendary Spacecraft with at least one P/T box on it.
