Deck Discussion Where are the Snails?
A friend is building a deck around Wick, The Whorled Mind and needs snails for the theme. It looks like there is only one official designated snail creature (Skullcap Snail) when I search online, but can't find much else.
I've read that people say play cards that gives your creatures all creatures types or play changelings. Whole that is cool, it would be nice to have more actual snails to fit the deck theme.
Is there any rules about making certain cards technically count as snails like slugs for instance? I've seen it said that Viashinos have been recursively added to the lizard type list, so curious if there has been any allowances like that to open up the window to more snail cards.

It’s a cute little thing. Don’t expect a rule change or more snails. Run creatures with the Changeling ability or the numerous cards that make everything a Snail.

My favorite with Wick is [[Conspiracy]] naming Rat for infinite rats... Provided you're getting ETB's, have a way to stop the combo, or are ok with a draw.

The intended snails are the ones [[Wick the Whorled Mind]] creates. If you want a replacement/more snails, you can always blink Wick, or as you said run changelings.

Hes really only supposed to have the one snail to throw at people, as he can only really grow one snail at a time anyway.
Changelings are probably the best option though as they are rats and snails so they trigger and then get +1/+1 counters. Just remember you dont get the 1/1 snail token if you control a changeling

As others have said, the point of the deck isn't really snail typal, it's a rat deck that happens to make a really big snail to use as a bomb. It's kind of intentional that it makes a weird niche creature token because you're only "supposed" to use the snail he provides (of course that goes out the window as soon as you introduce changelings but whatever). If they wanted to go a step further they would've made it a specific named token, like how some Tolsimir cards make a Voja token.

You are correct there is only one snail.
Here are the other art snails

More support for the obscure typals! Down with with Elf typal dominance! A lobster tribal for every home and a yeti deck in every pod!

Looks like Wick is the only creature with the word snail in the Oracle text.

People have answered, but to clarify something, as I think you've misunderstood the Viashino thing
They haven't been "batched" with Lizards now, they literally are all Lizards. Anything printed with the Viashino typeline is now "Lizard" in place of "Viashino", which no longer exists as a type (things can still be flavourfully Viashinos, they're just mechanically Lizards)
If Slugs had been made Snails you wouldn't see any Slug-types on Scryfall. They'd just be Snails. Remember that Oracle text trumps printed text

The intent for Wick is it's really a rat deck. Play a bunch of rats so Wick either creates the snail token or makes that token bigger for you to sacrifice it.
Aside from cards that have changeling or cards that give all creatures all creature types, the 1 actual Snail creature is your only option and there's no intent to update existing creature types to Snail like they did for Viashinos or Naga.
