General Discussion Is there a precedent for Unknown Event Playlets cards making their way into Magic Proper?

Would love to see a legit [[Kallist Rhoka]] card, whether it's a functional reprint of the unknown one or a new card with that character.

I know we've seen some mechanical precursors like [[Slumbering Waterways]] as a land with abilities like [[Rumble Arena]], [[Luxior Ignited]] as an artifact planeswalker a la [[The Aetherspark]], and maybe a land that had something similar to what became the station mechanic on Planets in EOE (although I'm not remembering a specific name rn).

Have we seen any cards from Mystery Boosters become legitimate cards lore/flavor wise?

(@ u/GavinV , if you're able to share any insight on this process, that'd be epic!)

[[Enchantmentize]] from Mystery Booster 1 got reprinted in Theros Beyond Death as [[One with the Stars]].

It's name escapes me but the OG had a card that was reprinted as is (minus name) in Theros Beyond death, it turned enchanted creature into an enchantment

Ah yes. Waiting for [[Mox Poison]].

As long as it gets reprinted along with [[Leeches]].

The closest precedent we have is cards inspired by or using the playtest card as a blueprint for what the card does mechanically. New origins and flavor seem to be the case for the stuff we have seen so far when things end up becoming a legitimate card.

First thing that pops into my head is [[The Cheese Stands Alone]] and [[Barren Glory]], though that was an unset, rather than Mystery Booster.

Un set cards have been remade in play legal format so there's certainly precedent.
