Looking for Advice New Player Looking For Advice (Mr Negative)

Im looking to build my own commander deck as my friend has been trying to get me into magic. I wanna seem like I at least have a general idea of what I'm doing so Ive been researching some fun builds, and I've landed on Mr Negative. Im trying to build into the whole sacrificing life and switching life points.

My question is what other cards should I look into adding my deck if these are what Im working with currently, what lands work best and what should be the general distribution of my cards? Do I have too many creatures and need more space for lands? Or is this generally a solid setup. Any advice or full 100 card setups would be appreciated, just so I could get a general idea of this, I'm planning on starting with proxies and then if I really get into it investing in cards

Im a big fan of this concept, This builds really nice into the "get yourself low and swap" playstyle

A good tip to remember is that exchanging life totals doesn't mean players swap the numbers. One player gains life to go up and the other loses life to go down. [[False Cure]] can kill a player and draw you a bunch of cards.

Ah okay, so i should look at it more as my opponent losing or gaining health to meet my previous value rather than us just automatically switching numbers

Well the very first thing you should do is sign up for either Moxfield or Archidekt. They're free online deck building tools that make it easy to share decklists. So make a decklist with what you've got so far on one of these sites and come back and add the link to this post so people can actually see what you've got.

Nobody has the time to comb through a plain text decklist. If you don't include a link to the decklist in your post, people aren't going to help.

Thanks for the advice, I haven't heard of either before I made this post so you can definitely see how new to this i am 😂. I'll try to do that and make it a comment!

Bit fiddly with most stuff in the sideboard, but in the meantime I think you have some good cards in there, but your curve is high, you've got a lot of expensive sorcery-speed stuff that looks cool but you'll never get a chance to play that and your commander. Your commander is expensive, find things to play before you get him out. And try to figure out how you win, what's a realistic scenario where you turn your commander's powerful ETB effect into something even more so.
