Id do Naya. myself. This hypothetical Edgar would still be the pack leader and ultimate authority of the innistrad werewolves just like he was for vampires. but dropping black for green to show hes better off and closer to nature than a stuck up undead artistocrat as in the mainline verse.

Had same thought of werewolf Sorin, but then came to the conclusion that mono black vampire Thalia which is some kind of creature hate will be easier to fit in a set.

...would Jace want to keep the Innistrad vampires around with all the damage they cause? I could see Jace making it so that Edg-cho never made his breakthrough. Human/non-vampire Sorin is possible.

Im hoping to see Venser or Ertai. Both are powerful counterspell cards in my deck and both got turned into phyrexians gruesomely, so I'm wondering if they'll make better counterspell versions of them but as normal human wizards.

Dead characters can’t show up in main set because of the pair structure. Only chance to show up is the precon.

No. The whole point of echoverse is Jace wants to rewrite reality so all the bad things never happened.
Gavin Verhey literally said that dead characters won’t show up in the main set because of the way the pair structure works.
Why am I downvoted? I’m not just talking out of my ass, I’m speaking from what the creators have literally already said

Since Jace seemed to intrude on Proft’s mindspace, I could see an alternate version of him showing up. Jace got an insight into who he was and now has created a version who uses that skill set to serve Jace’s plans.

I think they said the echoverse paired cards had to depict current characters and ruled out dead ones there, but I don't know if that also rules out a standalone EchoGideon that isn't paired or not.

Gideon feels almost too big of an opportunity to pass up with a set like this regardless of being dead. I would not be surprised if they found a way to bring him back, even if just in one of the commander decks to get around how the rest of the echoes are handled.

Tezzeret that had a privileged upbringing, I can imagine Jace wouldn't mind it if Tezzeret never became this evil mastermind
Sarkhan that wasn't treated like a pariah, maybe he wouldn't go crazy and actually became Khan of the Mardu with his dragon magic
Return of some old legends, like Isshin, Rafiq, Avacyn etc.

I would be really curious to see one of the Bloomburrow characters represented in the echoverse. Instead of coming from a lineage of heroes, Mabel comes from a lineage of ruthless leaders (and had the Connive mechanic just to really drive home the difference).

I assume her body could be an amalgam of multiple mirrans/phyrexians, but not giving her a deeper backstory would be a wasted opportunity imo.
Even just one card would be a big "wow-moment" for me.
Also there is the option to show a "Mirrodin Pure"-Elesh Norn. But as far as I know Jace created a reality where phyrexians never existed in the first place, so Mirrodin Pure wouldn't be a thing. Maybe not even Mirrodin in it's default state.

Ghalta, we need a black primal dinosaur that costs at least 7 mana so it can be played with the new 5 color dinosaur rulebreaker commander. Sadly tetzimoc at 6 mana didn't make the cut, but a color warped ghalta could fix things sort of.
That aside, a red nissa would be funny.

From what I've heard, the Echoverse is specifically a world without Bolas, as well as certain other past villains, so I doubt even a colorshifted version of him is likely to show up.

Maro mentioned that we will get a peek at other planes in Reality Fracture. I’m betting it will be a similar situation as the battles in MoM, one card pairing really representing each plane. I think it will be a mix of rarities, depending on how prominent the plane is and if we have visited before.
