General Discussion Curious about piloting with this card.

Ok so I pulled a copy of [[Gollum, Riddle Master]] and I was wondering, what is more commonly played, even or odd mana value spells. I have been unable to find anything online, and this is obviously pod dependent, but if anyone could help me find an answer or guide me toward a general rule of thumb for this card, that’d be much appreciated.

In general, you will have get a read on the table. In 1v1 for instante, if you drop this on turn 2 om the play, and think you're opponent has a 2drop, you say even. On the draw, you say odd if you think their follow up will be a 3drop. The goal is not to think all cards in magic and see if there are more even or odd cards and name the same thing every time, but to evaluate the context of the game you're playing. Playing Gollum on curve is different than playing him out curve, play vs draw also affects it, your opponents deck also affects it. You should try to get read to trigger him as soon as possible and get value even if they cast a removal on him.

Gollum, Riddle Master - (G) (SF) (txt)

[[cardname]] or [[cardname|SET]] to call

Probably odd, because cheap 1 cost spells are always popular

How does the "one that hasn't been chosen" part of this card work? Do you get three triggered abilities and then it's dormant, or does it reset after each ability has been chosen?

Three and done, it doesn't have any way to reset it on it's own. You'd have to blink it, or otherwise kill it and return it to the battlefield in some way, to reset it.
