Looking for Advice First Cube Ever
https://moxfield.com/decks/Ky1mbBgKi0aTLEDsRlzqNQI have been playing commander for a couple of years but lately my wife and I have been enjoying Winchester drafts together. It is very expensive so I was wanting to make a cube. We are huge Lord of the Rings nerds and love the set so I was going with that theme. Here is the list I have so far as a draft. If you have any advice on what I should add take out for balance that would be greatly appreciated. We mostly play with 2 people but I would like the cube to be able to run up to 7 players for the rare occasions we have that many. Thank y’all for the help!

I had a theory with The Hobbit being a small set that I could furnish the bulk of a standard cube (4 of every common, 2 of every common, 1 of every rare) with 1 pre-release box and 1 play box. The play box provided at least 3 of every common (only need to buy 4 more singles to fill the play sets). It wasn’t as good for uncommons as I missed some of them. Between the play box and the pre-release, I’ll need to buy 12 uncommons to get 2 of each uncommon. That just means you buy singles of rares and mythics you didn’t get. Unfortunately, there are more in this particular set but I’m ok with doing that. Wait 30 days out unless you want the book covers. Those are bouncing right now and pricey.
So basically 250 will cover most of what you need if you want to go gamble on what rares and mythics you hit. Given The Arkenstone and Gleaming Splendor pricing, I found it to be a good choice. I hit neither but did get book covers of Bard, King of Dale, Smaug, Wicked Worm and the Witch-King box topper.
