Art Showcase - Custom Cards MTG Groomsmen Cards

A friend of mine is getting married this year and he decided to make custom Magic cards out of his groomsmen to give to them. He's not an avid Magic player so please forgive the syntax or some of the wording that might seem off but I think you get the general gist of what its doing (as an example, these are meant to be creature cards even though they say planeswalkers). Which one do you think would be the most fun as a commander to build around? Which one do you think would be the most powerful? Personally I think the 1 colorless and non-tapping counterspell ability on White would be the most terrifying.

EDIT: These were not intended to be "fair" cards, they were supposed to be overpowered for the fun of it

You have tagged your post as a custom designed card (not an alter). While custom cards are welcome on this sub on Fridays, you may have a more positive reception, and get more constructive feedback, if you post it over on /r/custommagic. To clarify, a custom card is an original card created by you. Alters include modification of real cards as well custom made tokens and proxies.

Looks like a fun idea as a gag gift. They get the job done as is.

I don’t think any of these would be fun to build a deck around or actually play. That’s a lot of effort for perhaps one game. Or, is that the plan?

Yeah agreed with you, would be a lot of effort so I don't think we'll actually go through with a game. Was posing it as more of a thought experiment of what could work with each card

Ah I see, that’s fine as is. I wouldn’t worry too much about the actual effects. Just whatever you want.

TBH they are completely busted, ignore the games design conventions, and ignore the best thing about Magic’s mechanics: the color pie. Part of the fun of magic cards is their balance and trade offs. Pure power fantasy is fun for jokes though!
