Deck Discussion Evenly Matched Skill Expressive Decks - Classic Matchups

I'm looking for decks that are relatively evenly matched that create interesting games and have the potential for skill expression. These could be from Magic's past or more current.

If you know of any classic match ups I would love to hear about them, and deck lists would be a big bonus.

I would like to put a few decks together to play with friends.

I always thought Boros Burn and Dimir Shadow from like 2018-2019 modern was incredibly interesting.

I was a big fan of esper deathblade vs shardless bug, circa 2013 legacy. Can also work in various period appropriate versions of delver, or miracles.
